What draws me to Stacy?
You, my friend have a magnetic personality. I was instantly drawn to you because of your gentle, trusting, loving spirit. You are an attentive listener and when you are talking with me, you make me feel like we are the only two people in the room, thus making what I have to say feel important. You are sincere and are sincerely interested in what is going on in others lives.
You are not pushy or judgmental. Your eyes and smile draw me to you. It's evident that you are in your glory when you are in deep conversation. You are not afraid to go to a deep level of friendship..... I like that. You are confidential.... I LOVE that.
What does Stacy do for me?
You give me your ears, heart, time, support, understanding, advice, expertise and unconditional love. You are happy to help to make my life fuller/better. You are not afraid to speak truth nor expose your "raw" side, thus helping me through my "stuff." You are a REAL woman and friend and you don't pretend to have it all together and perfect, making you very approachable. You are a Godly woman who uses biblical references often, which brings me back to where I need to be.... in HIS word.
Love you lots,
Diane Menard
You are a great listener, you are encouraging, you are REAL, you are non-judgemental, I feel I can be totally REAL with you, you make me laugh, I can cry with you, you are so smart, I am so impressed by how well you can manage and juggle so many things, you inspire me, you give great counsel, you are trustworthy and faithful, you are a great mom, you never give up, you are such a sweet friend to so many, you are beautiful........I LOVE YOU!
I recently came across some quotes from Michelangelo regarding his masterpiece, David: "I saw the figure in the marble and I carved until I set him free." "In every block of marble, I see a figure perfectly shaped in attitude and action. I just chip away the rough walls that imprison it to reveal to others' eyes what mine see."
Much like a sculptor, the task of a life coach is to discover what's inside. That's what I credit Stacy for having done for me. I have learned to celebrate the true me.
Sincerely,
Betty C.
Stacy Rothenberger has a natural passion about her that makes you want to be around her. She shares from her heart in a real, raw, personal way that encourages and inspires. She spoke to a group of 100 women at our ladies tea event. We were we motivated by her teaching and her authentic sharing. She made us laugh, cry and want to hear more!
For Stacy Rothenberger from Marybeth C. Phillips,
who attempts to answer her 3 questions of April 2011:
1) What draws me to Stacy?
Stacy exudes a caring and depth, visible to most people as soon as they meet her.
I found that caring the first time I met her, and wanted to continue having a relationship with her, at first a professional one, because I sensed her trustworthiness and hard work ethic, and later, I wanted a relationship of deep friendship with her.
Because of her expressions of caring right away, Stacy became someone I could speak with about important things, not just the day-to-day superficial chit-chat so many friendships are based on.
Also, it became readily clear that whatever issue was bothering me or upsetting me, Stacy would be, and was, a non-judgmental person, not blaming the problem on the victim.
2) What does Stacy offer?
From the beginning of a relationship with Stacy (whether personal in friendship, or professional in her life-coaching), I have been keenly aware of her patient, interested
Listening Skills - as busy as she is, she never rushes through anything. As a result, Stacy gets things right the first time, since she paid such close attention while listening. There is never a need to do-over because she was in a rush. This listening gift makes her understand the problems we are facing, and she interprets the situation accurately as a result.
Stacy has great gifts of intuition!
3) What message does she share with me?
Stacy's most important messages to me are:
A) My problem can be solved and I can move forward, by taking certain proscribed steps that she has learned as a Certified Life Coach (which include proven social and psychological tasks to master).
B) Jesus/God wants us to fulfill His plan for each of us on this earth (a plan we get a hint of by our deep desires inside, which we often choose to overlook, because it may be too difficult to achieve our dreams, or there may seem to be too many obstacles to get from here to there.
C) What we dream/do is significant, whatever it is we try to achieve in work, family, life, whether or not that dream is significant to others in our lives or in our society!
